Miley Cyrus Paperless Ticket Review

The 2009 Miley Cyrus Tour will have a paperless ticket delivery system. To fans this means there will not be a traditional paper ticket that we are all used to.

The purpose of this idea is to help fans obtain their tickets at the original sale price. Many people, however are reporting to be disappointed to still find only the nose-bleed tickets or worse seats left on the Ticketmaster website. It seems paperless tickets doesn’t stop scalpers and other people from buying up all the good seats. Some fans go so far to say that a paperless ticket only makes it more difficult for someone to buy tickets elsewhere online where tickets for the best seats are available, due to the original purchaser having to be present at the front door of the arena with a credit card and ID.

The way a paperless ticket system works is, tickets are purchased with a credit card as usual. The night of the show, the ticket purchaser must present the credit card used to buy the tickets and a government issued ID, such as a drivers license at the door. An arena usher will swipe the credit card and then issue each person attending the show a seat locator slip which will allows them inside the arena.

All of this does not mean that Ticketmaster has eliminated the fan’s choice to buy their tickets from other places online. There are still reputable sellers on the Internet, who have a plan outlined in their auction description or website to exchange contact information with you to set up plans to meet at the front door of the arena or at an earlier time so you can discuss details before the show. This does mean that you will be paying for your tickets online ahead of time as usual, but you won’t receive them by mail as traditionally done.

People are still buying the best seats for Miley’s concert from various places online. This should work out just fine, just follow these simple guidelines:

1. First of all it is important to make sure you care buying from a trustworthy seller.
2. You can check their customer feedback and reviews.
3. Contact previous buyers through user ID and ask them questions about their experience with the seller.
4. Ask the seller for their phone number to discuss the transaction before you make a purchase.
5. Ask to see a copy of the sellers credit card receipt via email that shows details about their purchase of the tickets.

Paperless tickets sounded like a good way to avoid having to pay extra high prices for tickets, but some people are saying it seems more like an attempt to keep all ticket sales in the hands of Ticketmaster. For many people who desire the VIP, front row and other better/best seats it may be a little more inconvenient but don’t let paperless tickets prevent you from having that ultimate concert experience you’ll never forget!
